Charity Doesnt End At Home

2017 Mission Proposal

One Heart Global Ministries began in 2010 as a reflection of God’s heart for His people, providing both physical and spiritual needs.  God’s love is demonstrated to us when he sent His Son Jesus Christ to give us new life. We are God’s hands extended as examples of love and compassion.

OHGM is founded on the Bible.   God’s heart is touched as we give of our time and resources to care for people in need and bring hope in Jesus Christ.  Through short-term mission teams, OHGM delivers physical and spiritual resources, such as medical and dental care, new socks and shoes, eye glasses, marriage and family education, church building projects, greenhouses, leadership and spiritual guidance and training.  Our long-term goal is to establish healthy growing self-sufficient churches and communities.

Why do we need short-term mission trips?

When teams come to Ecuador, it demonstrates God’s love in action, just as He did in His ministry.  It opens doors to entire indigenous communities so we can help them become disciples of Jesus. Short-term mission trips with OHGM means life to many, and brings hope that leads them to joy and salvation in Christ.

In the past 6 years of service to our Lord in these communities, we have witnessed the power of the gospel of salvation.  It is amazing how our God uses our faith, through the actions of His people, to reach more people for His kingdom. All of this happens by God’s Grace, as a result of your faithfulness in going, sending, giving and praying. Through medical missions, shoe ministry, missions of construction and discipleship we have being able to reach 25 Communities, plant 12 churches, and bring hope and support to local leaders assisting with physical and spiritual needs.

2017 Ministry Needs

One Heart Global Ministries is fully dependent on the gifts of God’s faithful to fund our ministry needs.  Through the past 6 years we have developed a very special group of wonderful supporters that pray, travel and love the people of Ecuador.  As we look ahead to 2017, our needs are great, but so too is our Lord.   Our thanks to each of you as you pray and search your heart for how you might join this mission to God’s people.

Thank you for your consideration, love and prayers.

Last year we provided 4500 boots and shoes to the children and elderly of Ecuador. Many of the beneficiaries walked barefoot or with worn out shoes/boots, which damage their feet and their overall health.

These Greenhouses are being built in areas where conditions such as altitude, wind and freezing temperatures prevent communities from growing their own food. Greenhouses already built currently provide vegetables to feed 100 to 150 people, as well as income to the people of the communities.

It is critically important  for the greenhouses to have access to water. We need water tanks to make this project successful for the new communities.

Providing access to the word of God, translated in their native language, presents many of the individuals we serve with their first chance to access a bible of their own. We were able to distribute 5,000 bibles last year and are hoping to be able to do this again.

As our ministry is growing we see the need of an extra ministry transportation. Our goal is to be able to raise enough funds to help us get a 12 passenger van to assist with the work being done throughout Ecuador.

Training material, gospel tracks, study bibles needed to Quechua leaders and pastors.

Your prayers and financial gifts are deeply appreciated by Ecuadorians and our missionary teams.  Your faithful and generous support makes it possible for us to react more quickly to new ministry opportunities.  Thank you for joining us as we seek to transform Ecuador through the power of the Gospel.
